I hired this attorney to help with my divorce and child custody case, and unfortunately, the experience was horrible —especially given the high cost. While I was aware of his expensive rates upfront, I thought it would be worth it given many of the good reviews I had read. Honestly, I think it is biased as people are afraid to leave an attorney a bad review.

From the beginning, he avoided taking responsibility for anything, regularly blaming others. Despite my ex’s well-documented and concerning behavior, the attorney made what should have been a straightforward case feel unnecessarily complicated and uncertain.

One of his major recommendations was to bring in a child custody evaluator, which added even more to the financial burden and stress on myself and the children that really should not have been necessary. In hindsight, this seems more bogus than I originally even thought
He never gave direct answers to my questions and often rambled with long-winded, confusing “parables”.

While his office staff was diligent about forwarding documents, there was no guidance or interpretation provided. Receiving legal paperwork without any context only increased my anxiety—especially since it was impossible to reach him outside of scheduled phone calls, even after months into the case and tens of thousands of dollars spent.

Perhaps most troubling was his complete inability to offer reassurance at any point. With a volatile ex, I needed reassurance and support. Instead, I often felt more unsure after our interactions than before.

I deeply regret hiring this attorney. And felt stuck with the complexity of my case and money already invested.

I can't recommend Robert Knight highly enough. His knowledge, professionalism, and attention to detail are exceptional. He approaches complex situations with clarity and confidence and it's clear he truly cares about the outcome for his clients. His ability to spot issues others might miss and offer practical, thoughtful solutions is unmatched. If you're looking for someone who can help you navigate even the most complicated narrative, you're in excellent hands.

What an absolute trash can. Guy will steal your consultation money then decline to represent you after a mysterious conversation with your current paid attorney that you didn’t think was doing a good enough job. Nothing but a grifter. A common scam artist.

Don't waste your time wouldn't hire this joke of a lawyer if he was last one in this universe scammed me out of $10,000 and didn't have anything to show when divorce was all said and done and left me in the middle of divorce to fend for myself DO NOT HIRE

Robert Knight was recommended to us by another lawyer friend of ours under devastating circumstances. He met with us soon after, during a broken and pivotal moment in our lives. We were in unfamiliar waters, being in our situation, and truly did not know where or who to turn to and at this point we trusted no one!!!! Initially, Rob was hired solely to look out for our best interest through this long and hard journey, and to help protect the victim of this case at all cost.
Rob is a very busy attorney, but maintains great staff that help navigate things while he's in court or busy with other clients. Rob is very dependable communicating with other attorneys and attending court. He is going to go above and beyond if you allow him to do his job---without trying to take matters in your own hands. I know firsthand it is not always easy to sit back and and wait on the process of the court system or when the case goes stagnant. However, it is all a process that has to be done in order. Now that I am on the other side, I can begin to see a light at the end of our tunnel. I can start to see through communicating with Robert, going to court, taking each step day by day, it does have a beautiful outcome. You just have to trust the process, however expensive it may be, that Rob will genuinely work hard for the best outcome possible.

Through the last 10 months, Rob has communicated with us by phone, text, emails, or through his assistants. I have never felt that I could not pick up the phone and voice my concerns or worries or even the happy moments with Rob and his staff. His office was a meeting place on multiple occasions that is very warm and easy to be at. It always allowed us to be comfortable when discussing hard topics.
If you are looking for a warm and fuzzy type relationship with Rob that is not that kind of attorney he is. He is all business when handling procedures, and getting down to what's best for his client. We appreciated that about him. We were not looking for a friend during the circumstances!!! We were looking for a bulldog willing to take on the fight with us. He did just that and never left our side. The journey is still not over, but Rob has earned our trust in knowing he always has out back and what's best for the clients.
The ultimate goal was protecting the client at all cost, and Rob DID JUST THAT RIGHT BESIDE US.... This story has a great outcome that was provided by God and hard work from Knight Law Firm. We are grateful to them for walking with us every step of the way...

Mr. Knight has been very helpful to me through my custody and divorce process. Mr. Knight is very thorough in his work and pays attention to every detail. I have appreciated that he takes time to explain the legal process and I truly feel he is fighting for what is best for my family. His office staff is exceptional as well. They are always quick to respond to my emails. I appreciate that his office keeps me informed of everything they are doing on my case. Mr. Knight is my second attorney through this divorce process. Knight Law Firm is the absolute best in my book. All are very professional and yet very caring and compassionate. By far the worse divorce lawyer in Ouachita Parish. I fired him in the middle of the divorce, did the rest myself, I was doing all the work when he was my attorney.

He would show up to court unprepared, busy with another case and never spoke up when he should have. He is rude any talks down people. One star is too much for him.

This Law Firm will win for you. They are well respected and do what they say they will.

Mr. Knight is the second lawyer I’ve hired for my divorce and custody. My first one was terrible. The staff at his office are just precious and I love them. They are very prompt at keeping me apprised of everything. I was so nervous with my first lawyer because she didn’t explain anything to me. I felt calm and comfortable with Robert sitting next to me in court. I was confident he was defending me to the best of his abilities even when I couldn’t be in the room.
